Mukakayumba avuga ko abantu bakwiye gushyira imbaraga mu gushaka amakuru y’uburyo barya neza kandi bakayashakira ku bantu babifiteho ubumenyi. Avuga kandi ko mu mashuri hakwiye kongerwa uburyo bwo gusobanura ibijyanye n’imirire kugira ngo abana bakure babifiteho ubumenyi.

Igenzura ryakozwe ku rwego rw’ubuzima bw’abaturage mu Rwanda (DHS) riheruka gushyirwa ahabona mu 2015 ryagaragaje ko ku rwego rw’igihugu abana bari munsi y’imyaka itanu bagwingiye bitewe n’ingaruka z’imirire mibi bari 38% .
