Kenya Airport Authority (KAA) has dismissed as rumours reports in a section of the media that over six million protective masks destined to Germany disappeared at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). In a statement on Tuesday evening, KAA said no such cargo had passed at JKIA in the last 14 days and no one had reported a missing cargo. The agency has now termed the reports as fake news and told members of the public to ignore them. “Our investigations have concluded that there was no cargo of this nature that has passed through JKIA neither has anyone reported a missing cargo,” KAA said in the statement.
