We would like to invite igihe to the Women Leaders in Global Health conference, a seminal two day event series taking place in at the Kigali Convention Center, Rwanda, 9-10th November this year. This is the first time the event has been held on the African continent and is set to draw in 100 diverse leaders, policy makers and influencers in global healthcare, with a further 1,000 attendees currently booked to attend. Find the full agenda and speaker list here: www.wlghconferences.org. The conference is designed to tackle issues of gender equity in global healthcare, and propose new thought and direction as to how female leadership can help close the gap, looking specifically at Rwanda, and then also globally. From Rwanda, we are welcoming speakers such as: Agnes Binagwaho, Former Minister for Health and Vice Chancellor of the University of Global Health Equity Rose Rwabuhihi, Chief Gender Monitor, Rwanda Prof. Jolly Mazimhaka, Former Dean of the Gender Institute-Rwanda Ms Donatilla Kanimba, Executive Director of the Rwanda Union of the Blind (RUB). Dr. Claire Karekezi, First Rwandan woman Neurosurgeon Dr. Joel Mubiligi, Inshuti Mu Buzima/ PIH We will facilitate registration for your reporters to attend, just let me know how many and which day of the conference (or both) they plan to attend? Best, Laura
