Bumwe mu bumuga abana bavukana buterwa n’amakosa y’ababyeyi

Bumwe mu bumuga abana bashobora kuvukana bwakwirindwa ababyeyi bipimishije inda hakiri kare, kandi bakipimisha inshuro enye zose uko zagenwe, kugira ngo bahabwe intungamibiri zihagije zifasha umwana gukura neza.

Ubusanzwe umubyeyi aba agomba kwipimisha inshuro enye kugira ngo abaganga bakurikirane ubuzima bwe n’ubw’umwana atwite.

Mu kiganiro yagiranye na IGIHE, Dr. Bucyana Thacien, impuguke mu by’ubuzima bw’umubyeyi n’umwana mu Kigo cy’Igihugu cy’Ubuzima, RBC, yavuze ko hari serivisi zitandukanye zihabwa umubyeyi iyo aje kwipimisha ku gihe.

Izo serivisi zihabwa umubyeyi harimo guhabwa ikinini cya Fer (ubutare) ndetse n’ikinini cya acide folique (vitiman B yo mu bwoko bwa 9), bikaba byiza iyo abihawe hakiri kare mu byumweru bitatu bya mbere amaze gusama kugira ngo hirindwe bumwe mu bumuga abana bavukana.

Ubwo bumuga umwana ashobora kuvukana mu gihe umubyeyi atipimishirije ku gihe harimo ubwitwa Spina Bifida (urutirigongo rudakomeye) ndetse na Hydrocéphalie (kuvukana umutwe munini urimo amazi).

Dr. Bucyana yagize ati “ikinini cya Fer cyongerera umubyeyi utwite amaraso, naho ikinini cya acide folique kikagira uruhare mu ikorwa ry’igice cy’ubwonko kiri mu rutirigongo no kwifunga kwarwo.”

Dr Bucyana yavuze ko ari byiza ko umubyeyi yipimisha inda mu byumweru 12 bya mbere, agahabwa vitamini hakiri kare agitangira gukeka ko atwite kugira ngo umwana akure neza.

Yavuze ko iyo umubyeyi adafite izo ntungamubiri zihagije, urutirigongo rw’umwana rutirema neza bityo bikaba byatuma avuka rudafunze neza, akenshi bishobora guherekezwa n’ubundi bumuga bwo kuba umwana yavuka afite umutwe munini urimo amazi mu bwonko aribyo byitwa Hydrocéphalie.

Ati “indwara ikunze kubaho ni Spina bifida, kuba urutirigongo rudafunga neza, umwana wamureba ku mugongo ukabona hasa nk’aho harimo agashashi hadafunze neza, ubundi urutirigongo ruba rutwikiriwe n’amagufa neza, hakiyongeraho n’uruhu, ariko umwana wavukanye ubwo bumuga we usanga rudafunze neza.”

“Biherekezwa no kubona umwana yavukanye Hydrocéphalie, cyangwa se umutwe munini uba urimo amazi mu bwonko, akaba ari ubumuga bukabije, bugoye ko umwana yabana nabwo[…] kuko hari bumwe busaba kuvurwa babazwe.”

Dr Bucyana yasabye ababyeyi batwite kugira umuco wo kwipimisha hakiri kare, bakipimisha inshuro zose zagenwe, kugira ngo hakumirwe ko umwana yavukana ubwo bumuga bwatuma ntacyo yimarira mu buzima.

Ubushakashatsi bwagaragaje ko 80% by’abana bavukana ubwo bumuga, babiterwa nuko ababyeyi babo baba badafite ‘acide folique’ ndetse n’ubutare (fer) bihagije mu mubiri wabo, naho 20% bakabiterwa no kuba ababyeyi babo bafite indwara karande cyangwa se ari ibikomoka mu muryango.

Umubyeyi unywa inzoga nyinshi atwite nawe ashobora kubyara umwana ufite ubwo bumuga kuko kuzinywa bigabanya acide folique mu mubiri.

Bimwe mu birirwa bibonekamo ‘acide folique’ harimo imboga n’imbuto ndetse n’ibituruka ku matungo, birimo amagi. Harimo kandi amashu, beterave, karoti, broccoli n’izindi mboga zitandukanye. Mu mbuto naho harimo avoka, amapapayi, imyembe, n’ibindi.
